Senate Hotel - Helsinki

The staff were helpful, going above and beyond to return lost cash! The location is so central and convenient for exploring the vibrant city. Plus, the cleanliness was great.

It would be better if more private restroom facilities were available to avoid waiting times.

Room right next to reception desk!!! Awful smell of cigarette and mold!!! Shared bathroom not mentioned clearly!!! Need to seriously update the room standards given the price!!! A little more transparency wouldn't hurt!!!

Its rooms are huge and beautiful with shared bath as well as a private bathroom. The staff are amazingly nice and very friendly.

The room was great little and huge with television with satellite channels, central heating and a microwave oven.

Nicely decorated hotel located so close to the centre and the central station, city center as well as Senate square and the 7th tram stop. Nice building and rooms with showers. Friendly personnel and perfect and excellant location close to everything. Again, walking distance to Bank of Finland Museum:)))

Nice comfy base for exploring Helsinki. Well-equipped and nicely decorated place to visit while travelling around Helsinki. Good, magnificent location in Helsinki, just off Senate square, the central train station, and city center. Also, on the tram line...

Great location but shared facilities were a letdown

The location is fantastic. I was disappointed that all rooms share just two toilets and a shower, which wasn't clear when I booked. The Wi-Fi was quite unreliable in the room.

Booked a room with a shared bathroom. The hotel was in a good and absolutely perfect location, walk from the central station.

I loved how the kitchen was well-equipped, and the hot shower was a dream after a long day. It was nice to chill out on the terrace and enjoy the peaceful vibe. 😊

Solo travelers should consider this

The place was clean, bathroom situation was alright, shared but super clean. The staff returned cash I dropped, great service!

The room was clean and having my own sink was a nice touch, but sharing toilets with others is something to get used to, right? I enjoyed the well-maintained showers and being so close to everything was convenient, easy to explore.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, though it was acceptable for the price.

I stayed in a Budget Single Room, Shared Bathroom for 3 nights. The room was clean, and I liked having my own sink which was a nice touch. It's close to tons of places to explore, but the shared bathroom was a bit awkward at times. The layout was decent, though a little cramped. It was a practical spot for what I needed.

Comfortable double bed in the room, and the private bathroom is really impressive. the location is awesome, close to all the cool places to visit! 🌟
